Francesca’s al Lago is now open in Madison, Wisconsin becoming the 21st restaurant to join the Francesca’s family and the first of our national expansion. The Capital Square location offers guests “simple rustic cooking, friendly service and fair prices,” which has been the winning recipe at all Francesca’s locations since 1992. Our menu features the zesty, earthy cuisine of Rome and the surrounding areas of Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio. An expansive wine list, local beers and handcrafted martinis are the perfect accompaniment to an outstanding dining experience.

Nestled between Lake Mendota and Lake Monona, Francesca’s al Lago draws its name from the beauty of these lakes and features lofty ceilings, seasonal patio seating and a antique bar with a bustling trattoria feel. Striking photographs of rural Italian life by Paul Elledge line the walls to create a comfortable, urban setting throughout. Join us Monday through Friday for a one-of-a-kind Happy Hour featuring half-priced appetizers and $3 draft beers from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Our daily specials include:
